Hello and thank you for visiting my website. I’m an Associate Professor of Information Science at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Information and Library Science (SILS). I also serve as Assistant Director for the Carolina Health Informatics Program (CHIP).
My primary research focus is on the study and development of interactive visual methods for information analysis and communication. My work combines machine learning, data visualization, and human-computer interaction to solve complex data-driven problems. I have conducted research on these topics as applied to a variety of application areas over the years, with a recent focus on healthcare and life sciences.
Please take a look around to learn more about me and my work. I invite you to contact me by email if you have any questions or comments!
